The Airbus AS332L2 Super Puma is  an exceptionally capable Multi Platform Heavy-Lift Helicopter, and the only machine in its weight class operating in the Yukon. Powered by 2 Safran 2100 SHP engines , and able to carry 22 passengers or 11,000 lbs on the cargo hook the Super Puma is suited to a wide range of utility applications including fire fighting, heavy lift operations and humanitarian work.

One of the newest additions to the Horizon Helicopters fleet is the most advanced AS350 produced to date. Airbus have taken this aircraft to a whole new level with the enhanced AS350B3e. This machine boasts everything the standard AS350B3 is equipped with while adding dual hydraulics, and improved engine performance at all altitudes. Our machine is equipped with the revoluntionary BLR fast fin system, and Maximum Pilot View Kit. These optional modifications help ensure that our AS350B3e is the most advanced and effective utility helicopter operating in the North.

The high performance member of the Astar family, the AS350B3 outclasses all other helicopters in its class for performance, versatility, safety and overall efficiency. It excels at operating at high altitudes and lifting heavy loads, these attributes coupled with its new generation digital engine control system and glass cockpit make the AS350B3 a favourite amongst pilots and customers alike.

This is not your usual Astar aircraft. The SD2 has been outfitted with a platinum Honeywell LTS101-700 series engine, giving it superior speed and lift capacity with dramatically improved fuel economy over its competitors.

The AS350SD is our lightweight Astar in a weightclass between the EC120B and the AS350SD2. This machine boasts the same worldclass attributes the AS350 family of helicopters is renowned for with the added benefit of drastically reduced fuel consumption, and extended range.

The EC120B is a state of the art, single engine light helicopter in the same weight class as the Bell 206 Jetranger that boasts many great advantages over the competition. It possesses far superior cruise speeds, cargo capacity and passenger visibility, all complemented by modern day safety features.

The Airbus EC135P2+ is a light twin engine helicopter with Category A OEI performance, advanced avionics, 3 axis autopilot and is certified for NVG and IFR operations. This airframe excels at a wide range of operations including Medivac Flights, VIP transport and Utility work. With a cruise speed of 155 MPH and seating for 6 passengers the EC135P2+  is an integral part of the Horizon Helicopters fleet.
